ANIMALS IN NEED OF RESCUE COMMITMENT BY SATURDAY, AUGUST 3rd AT 5PM
"Cooper" 20458854: 9 month old male Lab mix. 67 lbs. Some nice people found him as a stray and couldn't keep him. He lived with dogs and cats. He is house trained. He is a happy guy when he is next to you. He is already chipped. Fee for neuter, rabies and heatwom test is $100.00.

Talk about a charmer! Cooper will make you feel like a million bucks by how happy he is to be next to you! He adores attention, and loves belly rubs and hugs. He is a very people oriented pup, and has been paired up with several other dogs here and has done great with all of them. He had an all-lab look to his body, and we cant figure out where the brindle comes from but he sure is handsome!! Cooper was found as a stray, and his finders could no longer keep him. They said he lived with other dogs and cats, and he is housetrained. They also said he LOVES to go swim at the river! Unfortunately, Cooper is not an adoption candidate because he growled when we tried to take his food away, and he becomes a bit mouthy during rough handling.
"Bella" 19692400: 9 month old spayed female Pomeranian/ Chihuahua 9.9 pounds.. She loves to crawl into your lap.
Bella and her roomie Tiki:
Bella was originally adopted from us in April of this year. She is back at the shelter because she was overly mouthy when she didnt want something done. She doesnt bite hard but she does use her mouth to communicate. She is also very wary of people approaching her kennel, and will growl and hide. Once you walk in she jumps right in your lap. When I sat down, she hopped right up and made herself at home, resting her head on my knees. When I did a bit of rough handling, she became mouthy but settled down nicely, and wanted to snuggle.
The following dogs do not need a rescue commitment today. They have been in the shelter a long They need rescue or adoption.
Jenni has been with us for several months, and has had blood in her urine on and off for the past few weeks. We have not been able to find the cause, and recently sent her bloodwork in for testing. Here are her most recent medical notes:
Jenni qualifies for a grant up to $500 to cover medical needs!!!
Drew has also been with us for some time, and is becoming kennel stressed.
